State Competition 2011!

Yesterday in Louisville, Kentucky, Aldersgate Christian Academy was present!  We did well!  Here are some of the winners!
1. Youth Choir: 1st place
2. Choral Group: 2nd place
3. High School Band: 1st place
4. Esther Byer: 2nd place for sacred piano solo
5. Katrin Crater: 1st place sacred piano solo
6. Brittany Cravens: 2nd place sacred female vocal solo
Congratulations to our directors!  Mr. Hartkoph and Mrs. Foster!  You guys are amazing! 

The Most Amazing God in the Universe Has Been With Us...

God helped with the 2011 GBS choir tour tremendously!  I wasn't able to tag along until the last weekend but even then when the students were probably about ready to crash and cry because they were losing their voices, God was still interested in coming to us and giving us a glimps of who He is!  I felt like I had been through a revival and I was able to be on tour for only a short amount of time!  It's amazing how much God can give in a little amount of time!  Thank the Lord for His work in my life recently and even before then! :)
